Hare sculpture in forged bronze with a lovely warm patina ‘transparent antique gold’. The piece is fitted on a piece of Kilkenny marble.
Dimensions: height 70cm, width 52cm. This hare is number 21 in a limited edition of 50. Each hare is individually made, so they do vary slightly. Made by Danish sculptor Gunvor Anhoj at the studio at Russborough House, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

This is a beautiful piece! – very pleased indeed with my purchase. Gunvor kindly brought together a couple of examples of the hare to choose from when we collected, and invited us to view them at their wonderful forge at Russborough House. Each one had a unique patina which Gunvor explained along with the processes, tools and techniques that she used to make the hare. Altogether a great experience adding something extra to the piece.
