Russborough’s 18th century Hippodrome turned into a gallery for the summer.
Russborough House in Co. Wicklow played host to a major Garden Sculpture Exhibition featuring over 150 sculptures in the summer of 2014. The sculptures came from across Europe, Ireland, and the USA and included styles ranging from academic works to more modern and abstract designs. The exhibition was managed by Gormley’s Fine Arts and some of the stunning exhibits were carved from bronze, granite, marble, stone, copper, bog oak, ceramic, wood, and fibreglass.
Gunvor exhibited one of her bronze hares in the 18th century Hippodrome. She was also interviewed by RTE for the News – showing off our studio which is on the grounds of Russborough – and giving her two cents worth!
