Vanishing Arts

The annual exhibition ‘Vanishing Arts – A Celebration of Irish Sculpture’ is hosted and curated by Ken Folan & Ruth Liddle of The Kildare Gallery at Carton House. The finest in Irish outdoor and indoor bronze sculpture is exhibited throughout the resort’s magnificent grounds. The Gallery itself is located in the charming old Steward’s house, which dates back to the late 1800s.

When selected to exhibit in 2016 we were delighted to find Michael’s bronze sculpture ‘Nest’ was purchased for the Irish State Art Collection. A collection managed by the OPW, it comprises of around 16,000 works – of which 90 % is on permanent display – showcasing the creativity of artists living and working in Ireland.
